The National Society of Cosmetic Physicians (NSOCP) is an organization which encourages the open exchange of ideas, techniques, patient safety, technological advancements and complications. NSOCP is proud to have faculty, members, and healthcare professionals from all specialties who are open to sharing their knowledge and expertise.
Since 1998, the NSOCP has been involved in training physicians in a variety of cosmetic procedures. In 2004 the NSOCP established a cosmetic procedure training network throughout the United States and Canada which now includes more than 25 training sites and 32 dedicated and esteemed faculty members. Membership in the NSOCP has seen constant growth and now consists of over 1800 members from 22 countries.
In 2006, the 1st Annual NSOCP Cosmetic Conference was held in Tucson, AZ. The established purpose of the inaugural conference was practical and clinical discussions where expert panel members and attendees exchanged ideas, experiences, and complications of cosmetic procedures. The format has since evolved and now includes interactive case studies, discussions, and video demonstrations which encourage physician interaction. The Annual Cosmetic Conference has created an environment which lends itself to growth and success for attending physicians and medical professionals.
NSOCP is currently offering 10-12 live workshops each month at various locations throughout the United States and Canada. The cosmetic workshops vary in topic and include: Patient Care, Practice Management, Botulinum Toxin, Cosmetic Fillers, Dermabrasion, Chemical Peels, Sclerotherapy, Endovenous Laser Ablation, Liposuction, Laser Liposuction, Breast Augmentation, Abdominoplasty, Fat Harvesting/Fat Grafting, and Vaginal Rejuvenation.
It is our vision that by creating an open forum for the exchange of ideas between members and faculty, offering formalized educational programs for each cosmetic procedure, expanding workshop topics to include all cosmetic procedures and expanding workshop training locations throughout the world; we will be the leading resource for cosmetic procedure education.
